How the current NFAA-aligned V2 policy works
- The archer must opt in, link a BowStrike account, complete the full scorecard, and have it signed by both the archer and a different scorekeeper.
- Every newly finalized counting event must designate either a current BowStrike-verified NFAA Certified or National Judge, or an owner who passed BowStrike's 50-question Event Official Assessment with at least 43 correct. That assessment applies only to the owner's own events and is not an NFAA certification. Results finalized before this control launched may remain only as clearly labeled legacy retained results.
- Most Adult categories combine Adult, Senior, Silver Senior, and Master Senior by shooting style and sex; Adult Longbow uses Adult only. Junior categories combine Cub, Youth, and Young Adult.
- Event placement earns a fixed base score: 50 for 1st, 45 for 2nd, through 5 for 25th and 2 for 26th or later. The base is multiplied by the event's approved factor.
- Four eligible events in the same ranking category qualify an archer. The six highest multiplied event results count; there is no different-host requirement.
- Ordinary BowStrike community events are 1×. Any future 1.5×, 2×, or 2.5× designation must be approved by BowStrike and cannot be self-awarded by an organizer.
- Equal season totals share the same rank under BowStrike's published tie policy. Corrections require an organizer to reopen the immutable result snapshot, correct and re-sign it, and publish a new revision.
NFAA-specific named-event exceptions, Young Adult season carryover, Foundation participation credits, and professional appearance bonuses do not apply to ordinary BowStrike community events. Rules are versioned, so future verified-event features can be added without rewriting prior results.
