Organization information	Club, shop, or range name, type, location, website, and description, for organizers who create an organization profile.
Competition & activity data	Registrations, category and lane assignments, scores and results, class enrollments and attendance, club memberships, dues status, and volunteer hours.
Content you submit	Event listings, sponsor logos, blurbs, support messages, and (where offered) forum and marketplace posts.
Payment information	Handled by Stripe. We receive limited records such as amounts, dates, and status. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Technical data	IP address, device/browser information, and log data generated when you use the Service.

3. How We Use Information

To provide the Service — create your account, run competitions, display leaderboards and results, manage classes, clubs, memberships, and payments;
To determine eligibility and category placement (which is why we ask date of birth and gender);
To send transactional email — verification, password resets, booking confirmations, and organizer notifications — through our email provider;
To review submitted content for spam, fraud, and policy violations, using automated checks (including an automated content-review service) and human review;
To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law;
To improve and support the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Publicly, by design. Some information is meant to be seen: your name appears on registrations, leaderboards, and public results for events you enter; organization profiles and event listings appear in public directories. Results for public competitions are visible to anyone unless the organizer limits them.
With organizers. When you register for an event, join a class, or hold a club membership, the relevant organizer or club can see the information needed to run it (such as your name, email, category, scores, and payment/dues status).
With service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, only to run the Service — for example: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider, our hosting/database provider, and an automated content-review provider.
For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety.
In a business transfer — if the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay dues, entry fees, or class fees, or when an organizer connects a payout account, your payment details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's Privacy Policy. BowStrike does not store full payment card details and does not hold participant funds; those funds are paid to the organizer's or club's connected Stripe account.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We keep the Service light on tracking. We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (an authentication token) and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Where a cookie or consent choice is presented, we default to the most privacy-protective option.

7. Children's Privacy

Archery is popular with young people, and the Service supports youth programs. Where a minor participates, a parent, legal guardian, or supervising organization (such as a club or coach) is responsible for the minor's account and information and consents to this Policy on the minor's behalf. We collect only the information needed for participation (such as name and date of birth for age category). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child's information has been provided to us without proper consent, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, keep records of events and payments, and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account; some records (such as transaction records or content already published to public results) may be retained where we have a legal or legitimate business reason.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You can review and update most profile information in your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA).
